Opening the doors this November, the Joseph Rowntree Theatre Company are hosting a series of dynamic musical theatre workshops and events at the theatre, as part of the new Autumn Theatre Fundraising Festival to help raise vital funds to support the theatre.

There is something for everyone, with all proceeds being donated to help raise vital funds to support the theatre. Here's what's coming up:

GILBERT & SULLIVAN ‘COME AND SING!’

Tuesday 21 Nov 7pm

An evening of song - practice a selection of choruses and ensembles from the works of Gilbert & Sullivan.

OPEN REHEARSAL FOR CURTAINS

Wednesday 22 Nov 7pm

A unique opportunity to watch the company rehearse for their upcoming 2024 show Curtains! 

MUSICAL THEATRE WORKSHOPS

Thursday 23 Nov or Friday 24 Nov 7pm

Vocal technique work and musical theatre skills. Attendees have the option to showcase the final number produced at quiz night on Saturday 25th. There are seperate workshops available for 7-15yrs and 16+. 

TECHNICAL DEMONSTRATION

Saturday 25 Nov 2pm

Venture behind the scenes, meet the tech team with backstage demonstrations of light and sound equipment.

MUSICAL THEATRE QUIZ NIGHT

Saturday 25 Nov 7pm

Test your musical theatre knowledge including interactive rounds! Gather a team to enter and win fabulous prizes! Showcases from workshops earlier in the week will take place in the interval.
