February Round-Up

February Round-Up

posted 21 Jan 2025

February is shaping up to be an exciting month at the Joseph Rowntree Theatre, with a spectacular lineup of shows.

Kicking off the month is the enchanting Beauty and the Beast, brought to life by the theatre's very own in-house company. This production also serves as a special fundraising event in support of the theatre, adding even more heart to the tale as old as time. Fans of classic musicals will love the high-energy charm of Grease, performed by the students of the University of York’s Central Hall Musical Society. For a whimsical and larger-than-life experience, don’t miss Shrek: The Musical, a family-friendly hit performed by the young performers of Flying Ducks Youth Theatre. Finally, the University of York Gilbert and Sullivan Society wraps up the month with their rendition of Iolanthe, a timeless operetta filled with wit, humor, and unforgettable melodies.

Make February unforgettable with this vibrant celebration of theatre!
