Celebrate 90 years of the Joseph Rowntree Theatre
In its 90th year the Joseph Rowntree Theatre, since its foundation in 1935, has showcased a record number of shows from West End classics to community dance and comedy acts.
Through the dedication of our volunteers to the Joseph Rowntree Theatre, its reach around York and surrounding areas has resulted in a wide range of audiences accessing performance. The Joseph Rowntree Theatre remains a charity needing support, however at 90 is a thriving and vital part of our cultural life.

As the Joseph Rowntree Theatre enters its 90th year come and celebrate with us at our Anniversary Ball. Taking place at The Milner Hotel in the centre of York, you will be treated to a three-course dinner with wine, live entertainment from York's biggest party band 'Huge', as well as a balloon raffle and auction.
A fantastic evening of fun raising and fund raising!
